Marketing Automation Specialist

The Marketing Automation Specialist will work with management and the sales team to develop, execute, analyze and improve customer acquisition programs through multiple marketing channels. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities and creating marketing programs to generate demand, build a predictable funnel for growth, and manage attribution reporting of the effectiveness of campaigns and programs within the marketing automation platform. This position requires a unique blend of technical, creative, analytic, and project management expertise. Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and execute campaigns, programs and emails in Marketing Automation Platform, Hubspot
  • Utilize Hubspot to manage current customer contacts, upload sourced lists, capture/generate new contacts and grow the marketable contact database while improving segmentation and targeting of audiences
  • Own, maintain and manage lead/contact record activities including lead cleanup, de-duplication, unread lead reporting, lead inbox support/assignment and data normalization as well as improving lead follow-up processes with the sales team
  • Drive lead generation activities including overseeing management and reporting of various lead sources
  • Design, and execute nurture and engagement campaigns with targeted focus on various stages of the buying cycle
  • Manage processes for high email deliverability and overall performance
  • Build engaging, responsive HTML email and landing page templates
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Lead to prioritize campaigns and ensure effective execution
  • Conduct marketing automation administration, maintenance and deployment of expanded features to further marketing efforts

Desired Skills/Qualifications/Characteristics

  • Marketing Automation experience
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar marketing automation & CRM tools such as Pardot, Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce
  • College Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing role
  • Glass half full, “fail fast” attitude
  • A team player, but can work independently or with minimal direction if needed
  • Experience with physical security industry
  • Experience with computer hardware and software marketing
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure deployments
  • Experience with data analytics
