Navigate to the Qumulex Ops portal, download the corresponding controller package and perform the following steps.
Navigate to https://portal.qumulex.io/
Under the documents tab navigate to Firmware > Qumulex Enterprise Panels (QXEP) > LP Series Panels 
Choose the Controller type and download the required software package. 
Within the downloaded package there are two files, a standard file and migration file.
Some of the newer files are encrypted with a password, type 'password' to unlock the file.

To decide what package to use depends on the controllers current version. The chart below illustrates what package should be used dependent on the current version. 
In written form:
Use the 2.2.0 migration package to migrate panels from 1.310 or newer to 2.2.0.208
Use the 2.2.0 standard package to upgrade existing 2.x panels to 2.2.0.208
Panels below 1.31.0 will need to be updated incrementally to this point before the 2.2.0 migration package can be used.
For example if the controller is sitting at 1.30.5 right now, you will need to upgrade to 1.30.7, then to 1.31.0 to use the migration package.
There are two connection options to the Mercury Controller, either a direct LAN connection to the IP of the panel, or remotely the Qumulex Go To Webpage option can be used. This requires navigating to the Devices Tab, Clicking Config, and Go to Webpage.
Once connection is established, you must login remotely to the panel. If a login was not created at the time of setting the address, dip switch one must be physically flipped on site and the default login is used. 
Once Logged in, navigate to the Diagnostic tab. 
Click Choose File to upload file from your local directory, and click Load File. 
Once you click Load File the panel will upload and prepare the update file, giving a few different status as shown below:
To Process the update, click Submit, and navigate to the Apply Settings Tab on the left and click Apply Settings, Reboot
The Controller will disconnect as it reboots. 
When the Controller reboots, it will come back online and show the new version of software in the QX Control Devices page, as well as the Controllers Device Info page.
