If you are having trouble connecting to your camera it is usually one of a few things. Follow the below steps to resolve connectivity issues. If you still have trouble or questions, reach out to support directly.
- Double check to ensure the camera make and model you are using is ONVIF Profile S or T compatible.
- Verify that you can connect to the camera via the webpage using a computer that is on the security network.
- If you cannot connect via the camera webpage you can check the following
- Camera power source
- Verify there is a blinking light on the both the Camera and the port it is connected to on the switch.
- Power cycle the camera
- Use the ONVIF Finder utility to verify it did not change IP addresses (https://sourceforge.net/projects/onvifdm/)
- If you cannot connect via the camera webpage you can check the following
- Once you know you can connect via the camera webpage verify that the IP address matches exactly within your Qumulex software under the Cameras section.
- Verify that the camera is set to use H.264 (not .265) from within the camera webpage.
