QxControl November 2021 Release: Access Control Reports

QxControl November 2021 Release: Access Control Reports

The November 2021 QxControl update is now live! In this update, users are now able to create and export access control reports. This update also includes enhancements to Fisheye Dewarping and to the update process for Door Controllers. We also are excited to announce our partnerships with ASSA ABLOY and Farpointe Data, further enhancing our Access Control experience.

Here's a brief video showing all of the November updates:

Here are the new November features:

Access Control Reports
Maximize the benefit of your Access Control capabilities by using our new Reports page to analyze usage data. There are three new reports to choose from:

  • User Activity – Analyze data for one or many Access Control users
  • Door Activity – Analyze data for one or more Access Control doors
  • User List – Easily generate a user list with important details for management

To generate a new Report, choose “Reports” from the left-hand Navigation Field, and then choose which Report you want to create. In this example we will choose to create a “User Activity” Report

Then choose the appropriate filters and select “Generate Report”. You can also download and save the report as a csv by choosing “Download”.

Adding the new Reports feature to QxControl further enhances the value of your Access Control experience, and sets the stage for many new capabilities to come in future updates.

Fisheye Dewarping Enhancements
Fisheye Dewarping was first introduced in September and in November we have made it even better.

First, select your Lens Type in the camera Settings Page to enable automatic Dewarping

Next, use Digital PTZ to find the viewing angle that you prefer. In this example we have used the same Fisheye camera and are looking at four different angles. These viewing angles will persist if you leave and return to the page. And of course, you can also use navigate in recorded video and take full advantage of all the pixels recorded by your Fisheye Camera. Double Panorama
